Our Adult Creative Courses are a welcoming space to explore new techniques and grow your artistic confidence. Each course focuses on a particular method or style, with guided projects that introduce inspiring artists from past and present. You’ll learn practical skills while enjoying the freedom to experiment, interpret ideas in your own way, and develop a personal style. Every course ends with a unique final piece that reflects your creativity, giving you the tools and confidence to continue your practice independently.
Current Courses: Friday Morning, Tuesday Evening, Saturday Workshops
All resources needed during the projects are supplied by the studio. Maximum 8 students per session.

During this course we will explore the lines, shapes, and gentle movement found in English bluebells. Using the bluebell wood beside the studio, you’ll have the opportunity to walk through the woodland and sketch en plein air (outdoors), embracing the colour and form of a semi‑ancient habitat. Weather permitting, we will venture outside each week to sketch or photograph different elements of the woodland, returning to the studio to develop your work and build in more detail. We will use a range of linear materials including pencil, pen, and pastel. This evening course is very similar to the daytime course but is shorter in length.
