Our Young Artists courses invite children and teens to explore creativity through a mix of drawing, painting, and mixed media projects inspired by nature and imagination. Each session balances skill‑building with playful experimentation, encouraging students to develop confidence, observation, and self‑expression. Working in sketchbooks and on larger pieces, participants discover new techniques, create a series of artworks, and enjoy the supportive, small‑group environment that makes Springwood Barn Studio unique.
All resources needed during the projects are supplied by the studio. Maximum 8 students per session.

This immersive six-week course guides you through observational sketching, colour layering, and texture techniques to create elegant bird-themed artwork.
